Ordinex
About

Built on a job site, not in a boardroom.

Ordinex didn't start as a startup idea. It started as the internal tool of a working construction crew — built form by form around the paperwork a real field team actually files, argued over at real morning meetings, and reshaped every time something didn't survive contact with the site.

Why it exists

Safety software mostly gets built from the office's point of view: dashboards first, demo calls required, and forms a foreman fills out only because someone makes them. We started from the other end — the phone in the glove, the parkade with no signal, the GC asking for last month's tailgates at 4pm on a Friday. If the crew won't fill it out, nothing downstream matters.

What that produced

An offline-first field app crews actually use, an office panel that runs every crew from one screen, and compliance reporting that turns daily records into the package an auditor wants — plus the unglamorous stuff a real contractor needs: deliveries, equipment transfers, rentals, sick days, crew scheduling. It ran as one company's daily operating system before it was ever a product.

How we work

Where we are

Canada. The product is built around Canadian job-site documentation practices — CSA-style PPE culture, BC-style daily hazard assessments — and priced in Canadian dollars.
